The Namluks were a mythical bunch. They had strange but exquisite and magnificent animals humongous in shape, carrying entire cities on their backs. Wrapped in gold, these animals were known as Tamud-Halil or ‘The bearer of cities’ in the local dialect. It was the era of the dinosaurs and the era of humankind; both of them peacefully coexisted with each other. But a day came when the fire fell from the skies in great numbers, winds growled, the oceans churned great waves and the environs became full of smoke and dust. The Namluks expressed missed reactions- some chose to give in to the exodus while some decided to stay and face their fate. By the end of the year, everything had settled to dust.
